SPRINGfest SHOW AND SHINE
The aim is to make the GTI Spring Festival Show & Shine the best display of the season. The GTI Festival managed some excellent displays over the years, and many other shows achieve good numbers, and good standard of entries. But don’t forget, the GTI Spring Festival is for all VAG vehicles equally. There is no distinction between marques, and we really want as many Audis, Skodas, and SEATS as we do VWs. All trophies are equally open to all marques, except of course the 'Best Of Show' for each individual marque.
We want the show area full, and therefore entry is completely free to all show visitors with VAG cars. You don't have to expect to be a winner - lets face it, as good as the standard is, only around 10% of the cars will come away with a trophy - but if you are proud of your car, you are welcome to display it in the Show & Shine area. No need to pre-register, just enter on the day.
We are also keen to see that the entire model range is well represented, so to encourage certain vehicles, there are several special awards. For example the entire transporter range will have a feature area within the show, divided into T1, T2, T3/T25, T4 and T5 models. Likewise, Type 1 Beetles, and New Beetles as well as each other marque (Audi/SEAT/Skoda) will have their own display areas - all within the Show & Shine.
