The VW Action Charity Auctions
on behalf of Brad's
Cancer Foundation always receive a massive
response from those who donate 'lots' and from those who bid on them.
The auctions have also inspired many to get involved a create unique
'lots' for the auction.
In 2008 several companies and individuals customised toilet seats to
be auctioned. Last year saw some superbly customised toolboxes. For 2010
we are asking donors to create any unique item. We would like the donated
item to reflect you and your interests, as well as to appeal to the VW
Action buying public.
If you are big into skateboarding, maybe a custom decorated or even
custom built deck - if you are a musician, maybe a customised instrument.
(eg: basic ukuleles are pretty cheap). If you have great artistic skills,
maybe a piece of VW inspired art. Whatever floats your boat really.
The idea is for you to take a basic item and customise, design, paint,
stripe, encrust in diamonds, or whatever other creative concept appeals
to you. Concept wise, the only limit is your imagination. It's for a
great cause, so, please go for it!
Please bring your masterpiece to the show, and hand it in to the VW
Action Information Centre when you arrive.
