VW Action is the longest running VW Show in the UK, and has in one form or another been the true 'Jewel in the Crown' of UK VW events, from its early days at Stoneleigh, the NAS Stoneleigh shows, the period of its residency at Peterborough, at Herts County Showground, and now at Santa Pod.
VW Action organisers, NAS Events are organising a special one-off event in Truro, Cornwall over the weekend of April 13th - 15th with all proceeds going to Brad's Cancer Foundation - a VW-based charity that helps teenagers through their treatments and recovery.
VW Action Southwest will feature many of the regular 'VW Action' attractions that has made Action itself a firm favourite with many VW enthusiasts. Expect to see Traders, Autojumblers, Show Cars, Club Displays, Campervan Cookoff, Charity Auction, Club Games, etc., as well as evening entertainment that will feature VW Action favourites like Jensen D Groover and DJ Trademark.
The event itself is timed to coincide with the finish of JOGLE 4 BRAD'S a week long 1,000-mile ride from John O' Groats to Land's End by over 100 VW enthusiasts on 50cc mopeds with Campervans following in support.
VW Action Southwest is open to all VW enthusiasts and admission fees will directly help a very good charity.
Only £20 in advance for a full weekend inc. camping or £10 per day.

VW Action Southwest will continue the great tradition of all the VW Action shows, delivering the absolute best event for the true VW enthusiast. VW Action is a show to which people are happy to bring their young family members, and yet which provides full on entertainment for all of its visitors, whatever their age or interests. Every VW Action has a theme, and for VW Action Southwest it is 'School Disco'. Yes, Saturday evening is Jensen D Groover's Schhol Disco as well as other top music and acts. But more than anything else, VW Action is about the cars. Action is one of few shows which is truly about everything Volkswagen, and the event welcomes the arrival of every VAG vehicle with equal enthusiasm. Early and late Vans and Buses, 'Old' and New Beetles, Golfs, Polos, and every other representative of the water cooled range, street cars, show cars and race cars - VW Action Southwest really will be the best place for a true VW enthusiast on the weekend of 13th -15th April 2012.
