Sunday afternoon in 2008 saw a bit of a downpour, and one item to benefit was the VW Action Campervan Cookoff. The marquee was pretty packed, and the first VW Action Cookoff was a huge success. It is a 'Ready, Steady, Cook' style competition, where contestants have to cook up a gourmet meal in their campers, with all contestants being provided with the same ingredients.
There are ingredients for a maximum of 6 competitors/teams. To take part this year, you will need to have registered at the VW Action Information Office before entries close on Sunday at 11am, although to be extra certain you can always book your place in the competition by email via the contact us page on this website, stating that you wish to be reserved a spot in the Campervan Cookoff. You will of course need your own Campervan with cooking facilities.

- 1 Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Block of Cheese
- Easy Cook Boil-in-the-bag Rice Portion
- Pasta Shells
- 1 Large Apple
- 2 Bananas
- 1 Tin of Tuna in Oil
Please ensure you have a sharp knife, a chopping board, pots, frying pan
and necessary utensils.
