The Offroad Course has now moved
from its previous location to the 'pit' side of the dragstrip. We’re
still surprised by the number of people who ‘miss’ or didn’t
find the Offroad Course - so really, please make a point of finding it
and checking it out this year. (See Map)
The first thing you need to know about the Offroad
action, is that you can get involved, enjoying a passenger ‘thrill ride’ to
compete with anything at Alton Towers, or taking part yourself (in
a suitable vehicle).
During the weekend, BAJACLUB.CO.UK will be offering passenger rides
in their Offroad vehicles for donations to Brad's Cancer Foundation,
(please see video if you need convincing!) and will also be available
for public use, but only in suitably constructed vehicles, Bajas, Buggies,
Rails etc. and VW-ONLY.
The entire area will be operating only when marshalled by members of
the BAJACLUB.CO.UK . If there are no marshalls present, then the course
is closed, please try again later.
Driving Licence and signature on a disclaimer will be required.
Actual competition will take the form of single cars performing time
trials, with trophies for the quickest in each class.
During BAJACLUB.CO.UK timed practice and trials, the course will be
closed to the public.
FRIDAY 2.00pm - 5.00pm
SATURDAY 10.00am - 5.00pm
SATURDAY 5.00pm - 6.00pm BAJA CLUB ONLY
SUNDAY 10.00am - 2.30pm
Trophy Presentation at 3.00pm on SUNDAY (MAIN MARQUEE)
